Does anyone out there wear colored contacts?
Ok, I know this is a dumb question, but here goes. I'm twenty five, and I'm wondering if it would be weird if I just "all of the sudden" had green eyes. My eyes are gray but look blue or green (kinda) depending on what I'm wearing. However, I have always wanted true green eyes, and there is a color called Sea Green that I would love. Would that just be weird, for an engaged 25 year old, to change their eye color? Would you? I kind of feel like I would be lying to people.

As long as you find a pair that suits you it wont matter how old you are. Since you have light eyes you might wana consider getting enhancers. As the name implies they "enhance" your natural color making them brighter and slightly more blue or green depending on which color you get.
Check out the 3 links. acuvue & freshlook both have enhancers and you can see what they look like on the model.and by the way freshlook has an enhancer in the color "sea green"
The last one is a forum that really helped me make a decision before buying my colored lenses.
And NO its not a dumb question :)

It wouldn't be unusual - contacts are the norm nowadays. =)
However, before using colored contacts, use clear ones, since colored ones are thick. When you're used to clear ones you can get colored ones =) It's not really lying to people at all - people wear colored contacts just for fun, and I'm sure your friends will like it!

i recently tried some. i have dark brown eyes, and they had some violet ones that more or less rimmed my eyes, giving me the effect of a halo of sorts. they were pretty, but, not really noticable.
on someone like you, with the color eyes you have, they'd be great! try them at least. some of the newer lenses aren't as thick as they used to be!
good luck!

I did before but it feels very heavy. I prefer clear ones. Especially if you are a beginner, clear is better.
