a forensic anthropologist is someone who identifies the remains of humans when all that is left are their bones. that is the anthropology part -- which is what you should focus on for school -- keep up your science and math and get into a good college -- the University of Tennessee at Knoxville has a forensic anthropology degree -- they have a "body farm" where they learn how to identify how long remains have been decomposing in different "environments" (trunk of a car v. buried in the ground v. metal container, etc.).
the "forensic" part just means it has been applied to the law, to the courts, to the criminal justice system. maybe you helped identify a victim from their remains. (there are a lot of "true crime" books you can look at to see examples...should be a whole section at a book store)
good stuff. and an interesting job. (and you can get paid a lot of $$)

If you like to read you should give a try to get some Kathy Reichs's books. She's an accomplished forensic anthropologist who decided to write (fictional) stories about her work. They are quite fun but they make mention of forensic anthropology only in surface but still good books to read.
