First, has your dog undergone obedience training. Some of her wildness may be due to acting out or your inability to control her. Second, is she getting enough exercise? This is key. Try finding an off-leash dog park where she can run (and run and run and run) and play with other people and dogs. Just make sure she has had all her shots, has been spayed, and responds well to you (so if you say "come" or give a whistle, she's there, not running where you have to chase her to go home). Other alternatives are more frequent walks, playing fetch in the yard, etc.
She will eventually calm down, but that will take a few more years. So by exercising her, you'll not only bond (and train) more, but she will be calmer too.
Good luck!

Honestly but sadly if it is a realy big problem sometimes it is best to have to give those kind of dogs up because there are familys that will be able to care for a dog like that and the dog could have a better and funner life but only if it is a HUGE PROBLEM there could be a dog that is better for you to.

Your dog probably has alot of energy . Walking your dog would be good . Although black labs love to play . But dogs need to be walked .
Its good exercise for them ,and also for you .

Have you had your lab fixed so she will not be a mother, if not then take her to the vet have her fixed. Then take her for long walks and get her some toys so you can play catch with her, she will know when she is too tired to continue to play.

sorry, labs are hyperactive! if you wanted a dog that sat still the whole time you shouldn't have gotten a labrador, you should have gotten a basset hound or alike

Buy her a Kong toy and some Kong peanut butter treats to go in it. In case you dont know what they are: http://www.petsuppliesrus.com/images/King_Kong_Dog...
It keeps them occupied on their own as they try to get the treat out, and it's good for their gums and gives you a break.
