Is it safe for a seller on Yahoo to offer Paypal as a payment method, and to provide one's Paypal e-mail addr?

Hi, It's reasonably safe to post your Pay Pal email address anywhere and as a matter of fact it's the only way for others to know that their payment to YOU is going to be safe. Besides that, you can make a small amount of money off anyone who is not registered with Pay Pal and becomes a registered user through you. Just check out the features in Pay Pal to find out how to do this. They will set up an HTML link for you and you can post it. As with most other things on line, you have to be as safe as possible and never give away your account password. I have gotten some spam mail from leaving my email wide open but I reset my email on high security to solve this problem. Other than that, you should be okay. Keep your financial information to yourself. Put only what information in a Classified that you need to draw buyers to your site.. PayPal is just a method for payment transactions to happen. You being the seller, why would you put it up for public view? Even though the system is safe there is always that possibility that someone is figuring on how to bend the rules.
