Good hearing from you again. Where have you been? A sugar cream pie sounds great, but will it sabotage my diet? I am on a strict Rocky Road ice cream diet. The path to hell is paved with rocky road.

First of all I don't advise using Splenda. That company is full of manure.
Besides consuming large amounts of Splenda will give you a splitting headache among other things.
It doesn't taste like sugar, and sugar is an industrially processed chemical, so there is no envy as far as I'm concerned.
For a much healthier alternative, use the juice from frehly crushed apples.

are you speaking from experience? Just wondering because I had some oatmeal cookies made with splenda (someone gave them to me) and they were really gross. I gave them to the dog and he didn't even want them. Ugh. I am not convinced that Splenda works in baking situations.
If you make a delicious Splenda pie, I want the recipe!
