i have a 98 pontiac grand prix 3.8 how do i change the coolant elbow?

    Are you referring to the elbow that is at the area of the alternator and power steering pump?

    If so you will need to disassemble and remove the mounting bracket. The elbow is easily accessed after the removal of the bracket.
