Is there a cure for laziness?

I have always had a problem: I am not a morning person and hate getting up in the morning. I always get up and go to work so I don't get fired, but now I work at night and I only have to get up early for class. I was good at going at the beginning of the semester but now I have gotten into a cycle of staying up late and sleeping in late. I need to go so I can do well in school, which will help me accomplish my future goals, but in the morning I tell myself it won't hurt to miss just one more. I have managed to do okay so far, but I am getting to a place where I am not doing as well as I would like to be. I know I could be doing so much better if I didn't miss class, and unfortunately I have missed a lot lately. I dont know how to break the cycle because I always just make excuses and rationalize to myself in the morning when I want to stay in bed. If this continues, I am going to do horrible in school and wind up a loser! Please help with suggestions to fix this problem.

I used to have that problem, then they discovered I had a thyroid problem. Now I'm good.

    Good luck!

I think the cure for laziness is finding something you really enjoy doing. I'm sure that your morning classes aren't the most interesting or enjoyable to go to, but you have to go if you want to get through school and have a career and a life of your own. You are the only one who can make yourself do it. Just look to the future and tell yourself it's worth it every day to get to where you want to be in life. Motivate yourself!

Your problem is not uncommon. I have it too, only I have finish school long ago. I have always done the things that had to be done in life, but I am still not putting a lot of effort in extras. You will be alright. Just work at it abit more. We all like to slack off now and then. Just don't let it get out of hand.

Start exercising. Your sleep will be deeper and more relaxing. Getting up in the morning will be easier.

It's temporary. You'll do what you have to do when you have to do it. The consequences of inaction are not what you want to experience.

imagine that your boyfriend is watching and keep monitoring on you everyday, you don't want him to know your bad habit isn't it....
