    Count calories that's it.

Burn more than you take in.

If you don't want to do this then I would suggest you eat anything natural.

Meaning any plant. Fruit or vegetables.

No bread, crackers or anything that has to be made.

Lots of water before you eat.

Honestly, if you just stop eating your body will go into "I"M STARVING HELP ME" mode. Anything you did consume (drinks or snacks) would immediately be stored as fat to get you through "the famine". So your best option (which helped me drop about 50 lbs). Is a low calorie diet. I'm warning you that its a hard hard thing. Its gonna feel like you did stop eating. But aim for about 1500 to 2000 calories a day. Try to stay active. Even parking further away from your destination is a big step forward. Good Luck.

Not eating for a long time causes your body to go into starvation mode. You will gain body fat every time you do eat during your 'fast', but you will lose muscle mass over time. Also, your metabolism will slow down as a result of that.

Eat small meals, every 4 hours. Excercise about an 1 hour 30 minutes a day, and break it into intervals to your convenience.

Drink lots of water, and lift weights 3 times a week to build muscle mass, and increase metabolism.
