SATARAID5 Blocking Setup?
I have a nice combination motherboard and it included an on-board SATA RAID (SATARAID5 by Silicon Image) and I built it to run without RAID per the friend's request. I keep getting this darn popup configurator from Silicon Image. I'd hate to have to close this window every time I boot for the next 5 years. Any way of shutting it off? I tried looking in the BIOS and tweaked a few setting on the different drives not used, I tried looking for it in services, no luck, tried uninstaling hte hardware only for Windows to exclaim "I found it!" and reinstalled the driver for me. Tried setting the device manager to disable the device, and still get another different popup. Ugh!

If you ran the mobo driver disk, it probably installed a raid configuration utility. Try looking under "All programs" for your mobo manufacturer, or possibly Silicon Image, and see if there is a configuration setting you can use.
