Is there anyone else who disagrees with how the media treats Avery Johnson (Coach of the Dallas Mavericks)?

no matter what color his skin is, he is the best coach when you look at his players. they are all not great, but they all play together and win a lot of games. 2 most underrated people in the nba: KG and Avery

I agree wit you Nobody gives Avery Johnson the credit that he deserves all they talk about is the team but no one thinks that the reason the best team ever The Dallas Mavericks is what are they 55 and 11 or something like that? Is because the coach and his assitants sure the players are good but they're nothing without Avery Johnson Just like the Detroit Pistons they weren't crap without the help of Larry Brown and look what happened they won a Championship all because of the team and the coach played together as one, unfortunalty it din't work out for them the next season when the Spurs beat them for the title, also the Mavs weren't altogeher last year when they lost to miami and that was the players fault not the coaches.

The Mavericks period doesn't get any respect, why I have no idea. They have the best record in the NBA and people still try and down play them and bring out anything negative they can, so maybe you have a point, not to target race as a factor, but maybe things would be different if Avery was white. That's why we will win the championship and Avery will make history, now down play that. GO MAVS!!!

Avery is a black man working for the white man, in other words who knows how much Mark Cuban screams at him in the locker room or how they mistreat him. And I garuantee you that if Dallas falls short of the rings this year. Avery would be hitting the streets looking for a new job. Thats how slimy it is when you a blackman working for the white man.

I agree hes a good coach, but his wide *** smile is scare, he looks like a damn Gremlin sometimes, and no not GIZMO, the bad ones.
