pregnancy question?

Hi there, this will properly sound stupid but ive got a really sore throat. Are Halls Soothers ok to take when pregnant and does anyone know anything else i can take. Im 13 weeks pregnant.

    its not a daft question.. I take it this is your first baby? Dont worry you can take halls soothers and strepsils, etc... I would suggest Asda's own as they have an antiseptic agent in then so it numbs the throat so it doesnt hurt as much. Hope this helps. :O)

    It is ok to tke paracetamol (1gram every 4-6 hours maximum of 4 grams a day) to kill the pain but you shouldn't really use any other analgesia whist pregnant because they can harm the baby.

    yes halls are ok, talk to a pharmacist about what you can take while your at the store. But make sure you top up your water intake and get lots of rest.

    Yes, you can have cough drops when you are pregnant. You can have Advil, Tylenol and most allergy medications too as long as they don't have a decongestant in them. For instance Claritan is ok, but Claritan-D is not.
