Do we have any hope to defeat terrorism while?

Two things need to happen and right now. No 1 we must pray for the Lord's assistance in this horrible situation. No 1 we must be far more insidious and odious when dealing with the terrorists.

We've got to be more scary and horrible than they are.

"we show our weakness to the terrorists" - Are we now a dictatorship? That is the only type of government that believes such things.

"we are panic over their harass tactic" - I think the problem is that our leaders encourage panic to increase their own popularity.

"we believe that terrorists are unstoppable" - Ah yes, I do remember George Bush Jr. saying something like that.

"we distrust our own government" - Trust has to be earned. Only a corrupt government can afford to demand that their citizens blindly trust the government. Stable governments are built on separate agencies and organizations that prevent corruption. Healthy distrust of our government is a good thing.

"we tell them when we're gonna withdraw; we tell them we won't give our troops any more money" - And the 2% of Iraqi insurgents that come from international terrorist groups would be free to do something else. If your prime concern is terrorists, then you are making a mountain out of a molehill. The amount of terrorists in Iraq claims are pure political grandstanding with no support from field reports.

"body count tactic always distracts us" - in other words, the want to save the Iraqi people, but don't mind killing all of them in the process ideology.

The main cause of terrorism is anger over hardships of various sorts and lack of government policing usually due to corruption. Wars can't bring peace. Yes, it can be won despite all of the things you mentioned. But their is no silver bullet that most seem to be searching for.

Who is the ones that didnt catch the most wanted terrorist in the world, and the person that killed how many of our own American people?. Our country is so divided because of idiots like you. WE need a country that is gonna lead, unite and not divide. And invading another country that had NOTHING to do with 9/11 isnt setting a good example for the rest of the world. They have made our constitution stand for nothing, and is for WE THE PEOPLE, not we the government The people voted when they saw the neglect and incompetence of this administration. Obviously they lack leadership and should be impeached. They have done nothing to Unite the nation. As for the troops ,you can see how our government feels about their recovery and compensation when they arrive home. If you were to support our troops you would bring them out of harms way and save the money for the future of America. Not the future of halliburton. Our country can do more than one hundred percent better. We just need TRUE leadership and not corrupt ,deceptive,unfair, unconstitutional, government.

what exactly do you know about terrorists... and what would you say we should do...

the DOD says that VERY FEW terrorists are in Iraq... so, is that the best way to fight terrorists?

I hear a lot of talk about terrorism from Republicans... yet never any fact, or never any ideas about how to actually deal with the root problems of terror or terrorist leadership...

read the 9-11 report... read the newspaper... study about terror groups...
