Military personnel only - what would happen to morale in your unit if we were forced to pull out of Iraq?

Would you be willing to risk your soldiers lives in battle again? Or would you feel that you cannot depend on the American people?

I would think were were sent to do a job we believed in. Lost friends who died for something we believed in.

Then were deserted by those who claimed to support us.

Caused Our friends to die for nothing when they were dying for something.

Caused our Country to lose face in the eyes of the world.

Let down the Iraqi people who were looking forward to be free then were abandoned by the very people who claim to champion freedom.

If Iraq becomes a free self determining country then all those who died, Died for a good cause.

If we pull out because of snivelling little cowards back home whining and complaining, then all of our soldiers died for NOTHING. and it would be YOUR fault (You as in those of you who forced a pullout)

I am not saying mistakes havent been made. They have.

There has been mistakes, screwups, mismanagement, at many different levels. but that is not the same as saying the war is unjust, or illegal. You find and fix whats wrong. you dont give up.

If a Surgeon operating on a patient makes a mistake. He quickly tries to correct the mistake and continues to complete the operation. He DOES NOT just go "oops" and quit, letting the patient die.

Thats what the liberal proponents of the "pullout" are advocating.

definite!! The day Saddam's statue became extra down i visit never overlook the seems on the faces of the Iraqui human beings as i became watching the archives. Their faces advised the tale on the time it handed off their faces shone at that second. They set about operating alongside with of the individuals in restoring their u . s . ,their water, rebuilding business enterprise ,getting a police stress up and dealing all operating mutually to come again to ordinary and stay of their new discovered freedom. men and females turning as a lot as vote the seems on their faces that day became easily one of appreciation for freedom. What we opt for to keep in mind is there are those who love warfare and do not opt for peace who're sitting on the sidelines only waiting to create chaos and intimidate good human beings. u . s . you have not lost the warfare. you've executed a surprising pastime. yet with terrorists sneaking round and struggling with dirty . My question is why do those terrorists sneak round ? They %. on chance free civilians at the same time as they conceal their faces and performance gun in hand. get rid of this stuff and what can we've? seventy 8% of Iraqui civilians say Quote: the united statesmilitary isn't a stabilizing stress of their u . s .. in the adventure that they offer up now they'll go back lower than a dictatorship which they have been let loose from. How human beings overlook the excitement of the on the spot. that's extra valuable to be free than have a slave mentality. u . s . you've executed a superior pastime yet when those you attempt to help provide up what are you able to do! God Bless u . s . land of liberty!

Yea, some inside input on this would be helpful. How does the front line feel on this issue? Leave or stay and try to change things?

Most the guys I know that have deployed want to go back. They don't really care what the American people feel/want - cause a lot of them don't know what they are talking about. They just think they know.

LIke I said before - I don't listent to the media. I listen to those that have been. I support their feelings on the matter.

I'm not military personnel - just a military wife.

I'm ex military. Don't believe for a minute that all Americans are against what you guys are doing over there. Remember also that the polls aren't always correct. If they were, Kerry would be president now.

Thanks to you and the other men and women who put their life on the line to preserve this great nation and its principles.

Old Corps Marine here...As a VietNam vet, I would say that todays Military Folks are the same Proud Vets as we are. They would opt stay to complete the misson and achieve Victory.

They know what they are doing is right, contrary to slanted and skewed polls. They also know that it is the same Liberals that caused us to lose VietNam, that are the ones trying to inflict Defeat again...

Gos Bless tham all....SEMPER FI !!!!!!!!!

You probably won't get the answer you want to your question. If someone in the military answered that either way it could and would be interpreted as someone speaking directly for the military.

You need to ask everyone the question and pick out the answers of the ones you know are from the military.
