Is the invention of fire or the wheel more important to human kind?

the ability to control fire. The Amazon Tribe you mention existed without the wheel until the Europeans arrived (according to a majority opinion). Fire enabled us to preserve food and make it more readibly digestible, as well as expand into territories that were otherwise uninhabitable (some of which were not accessible by wheel)

The wheel is the more important invention - namely because fire is not an invention. Of course man benefits greatly from fire, but to claim that we invented it, ha. Fire existed before man, the wheel did not, we invented the wheel and harnessed the fire.

Fire was a discovery not an invention, the wheel on the other hand needed to be designed.

Fire because it grants us warmth, the ability to cook/purify water, provides light, and can offer protection. The wheel is more of a convience then anything else.

Fire. You can survive without the wheel, even nowadays, we can walk to get to places. Without fire, can you imagine? No lights at night, nothing to cook with, nothing to shelter us from the cold... I can't survive like that...
