buying a shitzu?

To be honest with you .. A Shih Tzu isn't for you. A Shih Tzu is breed to be pampered. To lay on your lap and be petted. In my opinion they are not good for little kids. They are not a favor to hot weather. They are not easy to train Even though I have people who bought my puppies said they were easy. The grooming is every day. They are a high maintenance dog. I am not being mean to you but I would never sale you one of my Shih Tzu's .. You need to really rethink on what kind of dog you want. Shih Tzu isn't what you want for the terms you are asking here. Sorry but I really don't think you should get one you won't do that puppy any good. If the breeder was any kind of a breeder and if she sales you one after what you said here, then she is not a good breeder. I am not saying you will mistreat the puppy I am just saying this isn't the puppy for you.

Breeders that are easily accessible and have puppies almost always available breed for quantity, not quality. This means that if you purchase a pup from one of these breeders, it's temperment, health, and qualities will be less likely to meet breed standard. Stay away from pet stores as well, as these are mostly puppy mill puppies.
