Did anyone notice no one hardly answered Obama's question?
Why are they trying to force Obama down our throats?
When I say hardly, I mean as compared to other questions I've seen posted. By saying forcing it down our throats I mean that it's been there for a long time. I'd like to see something different please.

I tend to avoid all the "celebrity" questions.
If I had a really great answer and a burning desire to share it, I would. But I don't.

Last I checked the number of responses was over 3000.
Maybe you and I have differing definitions of "hardly".
Obama is one of the front runners for the democratic nomination for President in 2008. Didn't John McCain have a question featured a few weeks ago? Did you complain that "they" (whoever "they" are) were forcing John McCain down our throats?

Well, I think its a ploy by the Republicans or it is just a plain coincidence that we have 3 popular running Democrats so to say... to their one, Republican Ron Paul.. --the hispanic from New Mexico, Hilary and Obama. So they split the vote in 3 ways..and the Republicans win again..kinda smart I think..
Who knows what the future brings?

Not to be rude, but "no one hardly" is not the correct grammatical expression. However, "hardly anyone" would be appropriate.
Now to answer the question. I did not realize in the disclaimer that Yahoo posted that there was any kind of endorsement for any candidate. I believe it specifically stated that Yahoo Answers was open to all persons who adhere to the guidelines, including current political candidates, however that did not constitute an endorsement of any kind for any individual organization or political candidate.

Hey I felt sorry for them so I answered.
They are trying to shove him down our throat because the liberals have nothing. Their ideals are out dated and will ultimately lead America to the land of oppression and occupation, whereby the brave will once again have to rise up and fight to save their sorry rear ends so they can go hold hands and point fingers at the "bad" Americans.

Do you mean that the media does not ask Obama very tough questions? This I agree with you. Obama is the liberal alternative to Hillary Robham Clinton.

as of this moment he has 11,881 answers.. yeah.. your SOO right.. NO one at ALL hardly answered....
and this is an open forum.. Y!A has nothing to do with it... if Obama's staff wanted to they could ask 10 questions a day per account (isn't that the number for a lvl 1 user?)

Yup, partly because its a dumb question. Democratic participation is a right -- not an obligation. If people are not interested enough to vote on their elected officials, then they shouldn't need outside persuasion -- they just better not complain about what the country looks like afterwards! But everyone who took 3rd grade civics class knows the values of democratic life, and the problem of low turnout is not one of ignorance.

I don't understand why they get celebrities and politicians to pretend to participate in this forum. I went to Obama's profile. He's answered no questions and asked one. Does anyone think he will actually READ the answers??

Because Y/A is obviously administered by democrats. How many republican questions are featured and kept at the top of the list for over a week.
