Riding wheelie (on one tip of your board)?
Any suggestions how to ride down a run and pull up one end of your board so you are riding like a wheelie on a bike?
I also want to learn how to spin 360/180 with the board always contacting the ground (pull up one end to do a wheelie and spin on the end thats touching)?
any help/tips would be greatly appreciated

The easiest way to do a tail press is to lean back on your tail slowly and try to bring your front foot up. Many people try to do this trick by quickly leaning back, and by doing this you wont be able to balance yourself properly and will just wash out. Remember do it slow so you can so you can find your balance point. It also helps if you have a soft park board.

Completely agree with above poster. The biggest thing while doing any type of butter (nosepress, tailpress, etc.) is finding that fine line between balance points on the foot that is in contact with the snow. Pull too hard or push too hard, and it's like oversteering in a car and you are gonna slide out. Here's a little video that shows some ground tricks. The bottom portion shows you what your feet should be doing throughout the trick.

Paul G supplies large advice. one extra ingredient to guage, in case you opt for to commence doing extra freestyle interior the park, is your binding settings. Widening your stance and adjusting your ahead lean could have a ideal impression on the way you're board feels lower than your feet. a much wider stance will do 2 issues for you: a million) it is going to diminish yoru middle of gravity and stress you right into a extra athletic stance. this is going that could actually help you proceed to exist acceptable of issues both at the same time as popping off the lip as well as once you're interior the air 2) you'll have extra leverage over the ends of your forums providing you with extra administration over your edges ahead lean could have a lot of an same result as well as making your board sense extra responsive aspect to aspect. the fee of adopting a extra athletic stance is that that is tiring in the starting up b/c your enable muscles could do a lot extra artwork to carry you up. you receives used to it after a at the same time as even with the reality that and could be surprised at how a lot extra administration you'll have over your board. If I were your acceptable i could in all likelihood be driving with a stance width someplace round 20" (distance between the middle of the baseplates) yet you should work out for your self.

practice on the carpet with an old board....when you get onto the snow just keep doing it and shifting your weight and playing around until you finally find your groove! and on a bike a wheelie on the front wheel is called a stoppie!
