Where can I locate information about Senior Citizen and Handicap public transportation in San Antonio, TX?

Would like information for surrounding areas also as I would like to relocate to that area because of medical necessidies to get out of the cold climates we face in Minnesota, but face transportation needs if I do. If there are any volunteer organizations who can render any assistance I would also appreciate any and all information they could provide.

The United Way provides a database of resources from various volunteer organizations in the area. Here's a link to the local United Way agency:

    http://www.unitedwaysatx.org/Pages/IRIS.html

You can contact the San Antonio United Way directly at:

    700 S. Alamo

    San Antonio, TX 78293

    210-352-7000

They can help refer you to various agencies in the area. Good luck!

Contact your local Area Agency on Aging.. they can answer your question... and also help with any other needs you may have regarding senior issues. I put a link below in the source area for what I believe is your local AAA.
