A question for Old Fuzz about Taurus P745?

Old Fuzz,

I hope you see this. Can you tell me more about the Taurus P745 that you have. I like the feel of this gun because of it's slim grips. Have you had any trouble with it? I worry about shooting a .45 on the Taurus frame. My brother-in-law has a 9mm Millinium and likes it.

I am considering the P145 or P745 and would like some input from someone who owns one.

Thanks,

Anyone else feel free to chime in as well.

Im not a Taurus fan at all, however I purchased one for testing about 6 months ago (P745). I have fired close to 5000 rounds threw it so far. In a vise it holds a good pattern and the recoil is no more than that of a .40 cal handgun in XD or HK brands. Durring its firing I have had 1 jamb. This was a result of build-up in the clip and does not reflect the gun at all. I have owned/tested/fired about every handgun out there, Taurus gets an A+ for its efforts on the 745. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a backup or carry gun. Dont expect to shoot xring's with it because its short barrel and large factory sights. Its ment to save your life and have some fun at the range.

I hope this helps and good luck !
