Here is your "Best Answer"! Go to http://www.seneycentral.com/ and either browse their library or use their mp3search tool powered by Google. It's all free. They do accept donations to keep the site runnung. If it's not in their library, you can find it with the search tool (with a little work). Good luck and Happy Searching!

I've heard there is one i think called Firefox or soemthing similar to that ... but it is like Limewire ... all your free downloads will come from filesharing programs and with the file sharing you have the risk of getting viruses ... you could try a free trial w/ napster .. i think you get like 10 free downloads
I use limewire and I have yet to get a virus and I have downloaded 100+ songs ... so .... i guess my number is comming up.

There are many free ones but they are not safe. I use Limewire and have never downloaded a virus or anything. Just preview your music and if it plays then its a good file. You should have good spyware or anti-virus software before you download any file.

Yes, there sites that offer free downloads, but most of them are illegal, download at your own risk.
"Safe"?? No such thing as safe...I'll always tell people this "Even if you sit under a tree and do nothing, an apple can any time drop on your head and kill you.:

Since nearly every download site is basically peer to peer (what is shared is what your get) you get what you connect too. If you don't know where and who you are downloading from how possibly can it be safe? Pay a few bucks and get it legally you will be safe.

You cant get that for free, but you can do it in a paid service, like Rhapsody, iTunes, and Yahoo! Music.
