All teaching degrees require four years of study. That can be made up of an undergrad degree in education/teaching. Or you can do a different undergraduate degree (eg B. Arts) and then do a postgrad diploma in education. These normally take 1 or 2 years.
Either way, you're looking at at least four years of study. Hope this helps!

The only way you can "fast track" is to take a few more classes each year. At the most you might be able to shave off a few months.
Do it over 4 years. 3 yrs BA, 1 year diploma. Or a bachelor of teaching (but I wouldn't go down that path).

In my opinion i would not want anyone to fast track their teaching skills... I live in Australia and we already have problems with our poor teaching skills!!! Wouldnt you want to give the best possible education to your students!! I sure would not like my children to be taught by someone who has taken the easy way out!!! Be patient and be the best you can be and if that means extra study for it then do that, if not then take up a different career path...
Good luck!!!
