this refers to top tv shows or movie genres. it just seems that anything good anymore has to be beaten down or ruined!

laziness...from both the producers who simply don't want to work to come up with fresh ideas...and more importantly, the audience...who sits on their azzes and watch the dreck and refuse to force the producers to work on fresh ideas...which leads to more dreck...
