anyone know this band or song???

ok.. this might sound stupid.. But I cant remember the name of the band or song... only the video.. it was a black guy that came out to a corner everyday with a piece of card board and then he would dance all day.. the song was about him dancing until his GF came back to him.... in the end the band drove off in a white convertable... yeah yeah I know... does it sound like anything to anyone???
