How long do you think it'll be before UFC phases PRIDE out and becomes one promotion?

A few of the best fighters from both promotions will be kept under contract, most of the front office people will unfortunately lose their jobs, & PRIDE will be mentioned in passing as that company that had better caliber fighters than UFC but fell on hard times & had to sell out. I saw the UFC/PRIDE conference in Japan where Lorenzo Fertitta said PRIDE will still be PRIDE but come on, who do you think you're kidding? Personally, I give it 2 years tops before PRIDE is put to rest permanently.

It's tough to get rid of the guys who are missing fingers...I'll say no more.

Nope, you're all wrong. Pride will be there, as a separate brand. In a sense it is the WWE, it will have two sets of belts, rules, exclusive fighters. They'll come together for Super Fantasy PPVs about 3 times a year. It's gonna be great. I'm Pride all the way. I despise the way the UFC puts on shows. 5 fights, shitty fighters, very anti-climatic action. One of the stips of the sale was the upkeep of the tradition that Pride is famous for. The Bushido Warrior-ship is whats important. That isn't going anywhere. They just haven't different owners, but with a better sense of marketing and mediocre TV deal.

It won't be two years. It might happen within the next ten years, but not two years. The only way Pride will be killed of is if they have head-to-head competitions like in the IFL. Not a good idea for the UFC.

This isn't WWF. PRIDE wil be around for a long time... They may eventually have one title per wieght class between the 2 organizations (which I like the idea of) but that's it. Nobody pays $70million for an established commodity just to get rid of it.

You're an idiot. How about them apples? Who cares a s s f ace? If you like Pride then support it, if you want UFC to have a monopoly well then that's your stupidity. Monopoly is not good, see Don King.
