Okay, I know this may sound a little silly, but I do this for my horse. She has really bad allergies and it is safe for dogs too. Buy some local honey. Honey taken from your geographical area and give about a tsp. a day to your dog. Since the bee's pollinate with the same pollen in your local area. Your dog will rapidly build an immunity to the allergens. Another excellent aid is apple cider vinegar, it deters fleas, mosquito's and biting flies which your dog may also be allergic to. Both of these remedies work very well.

Rotti mixes seem to be prone to allergies and eczema. About all you can do is get a good over the counter wash specifically designed for allergies and bath your dog every few days. Grated raw apple and carrot in their food is good for their skin as is the occasional tin of sardines in natural oil.

geeting a good shampoo from your vet would be a start, also inquiring about some vanectyl-p to help comtrol the itching when she has her worse attacks. r u sure its not food related?
