    pants are always optional. it's totally implied in the sign. if i ever open a business, my sign will say "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service! Pants Optional"

    Pants are not required; people wear skirts to the store all the time!

    Whose gonna try that out ? wow, good question. I guess you can't say pants . don't wanna offend skirts and shorts wearers.

    well. you usually only see those signs in the boonies or in rural areas.
