My computer switches off?
Every time i put my cam on the computer restarts itself why?
i have take the cam and driver off the pc rebooted and downloaded everything rebooted and still the computers restarts its self.

Is the cam plugged in through USB?
The problem could be what Biggles said, or your power supply might not be strong enough to support all the things you have plugged into your computer. If you have a lot of things plugged into USB ports, try unplugging all but the cam.

it sounds like a driver problem try uninstalling the software for the camera then reboot and then reinstall it

uninstall the cam driver first. restart the system, and install the driver again. hope iot will work.
oh, is the driver compatible with your os.
