The price of a LP record in 1967 was 32s/6d ( thirty-two shillings and sixpence) in old money. That's £1.72.5 p in new money being as we no longer have the halfpence then it would probable be £1.73p

I wasn't actually born by then, but they were £2.99 in Woolworths.
Less than that in the 'bargain' bins.
