For example: St. Petersburg, Florida or Sicily, Alaska.

    You could spend weeks on that topic. You're probably talking thousands of cities. Narrow it down to a state or even county, possibly trying to find out how the name came to be used.

    Another interesting topic is the names that came from, topography, location, residents or commercial functions.
