I would start with any necessary ceiling work first, followed by walls, then finishing with floors for the first part. a top-to-bottom approach is more sound when working a renovation project like yours. This assumes that all of your plumbing and heating/cooling ductwork are in perfect operation order. This would be a perfect opportunity to give them a good once-over for peace of mind.
When all of these are to your liking, then you move on to appliances. I would first focus on things like washer and dryer, dishwasher, etc. first. Plumbing related items are best for this step. When all of those are good, move onto kitchen appliances and the like. Once you get all of those where you want, move onto accomodations like kitchen table and furniture throughout. Finish up with electronics.
I've assisted and lead many renovations. You can learn from my many attempts, follow this and you'll only be going over sections once. Good luck with your project, and when in doubt, call someone that knows more than you do.

Relax. If your going to be living in it during all this work, then you need to make a living space in the house. You can start anywhere you wish to. A couple of pointers tho. One bathroom then the other, never have both (all) down at the same time. Do all flooring before you get more furniture, Do all painting before any flooring. It can be fun and satisfying, just don't worry about too much. There will be problems and upsets, that's just part of it so relax.

Shane, let me put this bluntly: you have been in a fight, you've had some criminal activity in January, you were already on probation for your earlier crime... If I were you, I'd be thankful to be on house arrest and not in jail or prison. I do not think an early release is in the cards for you. - Stuart
