Floor Cleaning by a secretary?

I work for the USDA, I told the owner of a company that he had to clean a floor due to massive amounts of dirt and grease. I expected him to hire a service. Wouldn't you? Anyway I get there this morning and I find his secertary (in good clothes) on the floor scrubbing. By the way this is about 15000 sq. feet of floor. Is this the cheapest, most ignorant, lazy thing that you have ever heard of? Please tell me if ANY one out there thinks this is a proper way to conduct business?

It might not be "Proper" but it's not unheard of! Not only do I have to clean the office & the bathroom (yes-after the stinky crews)- I have to supply my own clean drinking water, too! Ahhhhh, all this with no vacation time or benifits either. By the way I've been the office manager for over 3 years!

You told him to get the floor cleaned and he did. Now you want to complain how he gets the floor clean ? Maybe you could pay a cleaning company to do it.

She could have told him to stuff it but she probably needs the job. I think this falls under her job description under "other duties as assigned".
