I have read all your answers and I am very happy to know that there are still people out there who really cares.... And I am happy to know that there are still people who can think constructively...
Sometimes I really dislike those who gives you those kind of look when they come to know that a certain person was a prisoner. These sort of people tends to add pepper and salt (rubbing in) even after the ex-convict finished serving the jail term.
Cheers!!!

I'm a Malaysian. I don't think you should condemn someone just because they have been in jail. That's why most criminals can't return to the right path. Instead, you should see if they have changed for the better and then decide whether you should continue seeing them.

In this corrupt world and corrupt community, anybody could be in jail. Many times those people in jail are those who became a scapegoat of some elses mistake. Feel sorry for him/her and show some support will ya.

we should forgive them since they have been in jail for punishment they deserve.
Now since they r out, we should provide opportunities n wish they dont go back to the wrong path n ended up in jail.

it doesn't matter as long as u know why that person went to jail and i believe 2 yrs is for a small offence. Just guard your valuables.

well, i'll definitely try to keep in touch. but it also depends on the reason why he/she is sentenced to prison
but i'll never stop seeing him/her. everyone deserves a second chance. just watch jack neo's "one last chance" then you'll know why

It depends what that friend did. If he/she did anything heinous, then I would try not to associate myself with that friend any longer.

for me,past is past and the present and future count.i dont like to friend with people who misbehave,u need to look after urself as an individual and friends around can very much influenece u,so its my right to choose who i feel suitable to friend with me and who's not,i should friend with people who show me way to kindness and good morality.
i got friend who makes crimes like killing babies ....but i still friend with them cuz i wanna help them to go back to the right path ...i dont discriminate them,as long as they behave themselves
