A Question About Monarch Caterpillars?

I have a 10 gallon tank that I'm going to fill with sand and dirt and gravel and standing sticks, I am going to order 2 or 3 monarch caterpillars from a breeder, and I was wondering if I could find milk weed in southern NH.

I was wondering if caterpillars need to drink?

Update:

I've seen videos where people have put aluminum foil on tree branches to help the caterpillars crysallis stick?

is this a good idea?

You shoudl be able to find milkweed in southern NH. It grows in Massachussetts. Ask somone in your area that knows about plants to point it out to you. When I was a kid I caught catapillars a couple times and watched them grow and turn into butterflies. I just remember them being in a tank with lots of leaves to eat.

I don't know if they drink or not. Ask the breeder how to take care of them. They would know.
