Why can't I get any sound from windows media player?
I get the video but no sound. It works fine in all of my other software applications.
I had already checked everything that was suggested. I ended up going back and installing hard drive backups until I got to the first week in January and it worked fine. Something became corrupt and I couldn't find it. After re updating all my protection software I'm back in the saddle again. (6 hrs to fix it)

Did you check the volume setting on the Window Media Player and your speaker volume that out side of your computer too?
