Birds that are sitting on the floor of their cage are sick, they don't usually show symptoms until something is bad so i suggest ringing a vet or taking her to one as soon as possible. A larger egg than normal could mean calcium, mineral or dietry supplements arent being given enough. check her diet and make sure she's getting plenty of fresh foods as well as pellets/seed.
If her vent is swollen and she has been like that for two days she may be egg bound and she needs medical attention immediately if you don't want to lose her.
hope she gets better soon!

my sister in law had a Ccckatiel that died from a calcium deficiency from laying too many eggs, & not getting enough replacement calcium into her system.
I don't know much about birds, but sounds like you should take yours to the vet to get her checked out.

yes she could, contact your vet that knows about birds. and tell him her symptoms. my grammas love bird would lay eggs, and she would be very depressd if you threw them away before she "detached" from them. she did end up dieing though from a egg getting stuck. good luck

She may have another one stuck up inside her she can't pass. Take her to the vet immediately.
