Imagine all the things that wind does. It moves the clouds which form over the ocean then move inland and rain on our crops. It provies about 10% of our power supply. Those are just 2 things. So no we could not

i cant
i would be cooking where i am ,in the humid tropics the wind is what makes the climate bearable .
and as soon as i am indoors i switch on the artificial wind
apart from that we need the wind to move the clouds around which spread the rain over this planet ,with out wind many places would dry out in no time and others would be permanently water logged .
wind also helps migraiting birds who hop on aircurrents to get to their breeding grounds sometimes on the other side of the world
with out wind we would not have sailed any where
seeds would not have gone so far
Nature would have been totally different and many species would not exist both in flora of faune or never have movced from their original spot ,
so forget about it ,a planet with out wind is just not possible
read Heavens breath by Lyall Watson to find out just what the wind all does .

Wind is necessary to keep the air fresh. Think about it. If there was no wind the same air would hang over one area all the time. How breathable would the air over YOUR city be if new air never came in. If there was no wind we'd all be dead.

No. Not enough carbon dioxide would get to the plants to be able to refresh the 02 in the air. We'd die painful suffocating deaths. Thank God for Earth's rotation!
