Does anyone know where to find......?
My aunt was telling me about a place near Miami FL that she thinks was called "swap meet" ??? My mother is going to Miami in a couple of weeks, and we love flea markets, thrift stores, etc. Apparently this place would be heaven for us! :-) My aunt said it's about an hour from Miami, right near the highway, but she doesnt remember exactly where. Anyone??

She is probably talking about the swap shop off of Sunrise blvd...Just take I-95 noth to Sunrise and go west and it will take you right to it....There are alot of nice things there....
Dont forget the sunscreen...

It's the Swap Shop on Sunrise Blvd. in Ft. Laud. Pretty much only sell perfume, sunglasses and cheap knock -offs of brand names... the used stuff in the flea market section is truly crap. If you're looking for thrift stores check out Family Thrift in Ft. Lauderdale area, or Community Thrift. We find little treasures there all the time.
