Help with the sims?

I'm a little confused as to what exactly it is that you're asking. Are you asking if you can use things that are on The Sims 1 game on The Sims 2 game too or are you asking if you will still have any of the things from your Sims 1 game on your computer once you've downloaded the Sims 2? The reason I'm asking is because the other people's answers to your question are conflicting with each other. Some of them read your question one way and others read it another way.

If you're asking if you can use things that are on The Sims 1 game on The Sims 2 game then the answer is NO. The Sims 1 game and The Sims 2 games are completely different from each other and the items on The Sims 1 will NOT work on the Sims 2.

If you're asking if everything you have on the Sims 1 will still be on you're computer once you've downloaded the Sims 2 onto it then the answer is YES. The only way that you will lose anything from your Sims 1 game is if you uninstall it from your computer yourself.

no, the Sims 2 is a hole diffrent game then the first. Well if you add the night life to your Sims you still keep all of the old stuff you had on there

sims & sims 2 are sooo different that its not even funny. you can do soooooo much more stuff on sims 2. i loveeee sims 2. but unfortunatly you dont get to keep all the stuff. like the basketball court and the electric guitar are 2 items i know isnt there in sims 2. but if you get the sims 2 i know you will loveee it :]

No, unfortunately Sims and Sims 2 are too different. You will have to start fresh. But don't worry, I have both too. It's definitely worth it.

I recommend that you install sims 1 first. install the orignal discs,then install the expanision packs you have. after youy get addicted(like i did) install the sims 2(awsome!) and then install nightlife when you get it. you pick it the best games in the world(well in my opinion. good luck.

no. the sims and the sims 2 are completely different programs, and they arent compatible.

You need to save all your info from your Sims that you have already built up. I made this mistake and lost everything!
