What do you think about a roommate who insists you dry the tiles and glass after showering?

She is a clean freak but washes her dog in the kitchen sink...

It's her place and I'm just a renter/roomie. She complains about everything and when I try to placate her, she complains that I am making her feel guilty. I don't want to move again, what shall I do?

Do what you have energy and time for. If you feel her super clean ways are burdensome talk with her about it.

She may ask you to leave. But you may be hurried to school or work and don't have time to stop to wipe down the bathroom because I know it doesn't stop with the tub...my daughter has OCD and she can clean for hours. And the more she cleans the more she finds to clean.

Pick your battles. You may need to stay put but you don't have to be bullied or threatened if you are paying rent.

She is a control freak and wants to make sure you know you are a second class citizen in her eyes and she is the boss. When she makes unreasonable demands, smile and tell her you will try to do better. Then just ignore it and forget about it. Don't make yourself miserable trying to keep her happy. You are paying rent which gives you some rights. Don't jump up and do whatever she wants. Just sit still with your smile. You do need to try to obey her reasonable demands.

You have to talk to her about what you can feel what is in your limits of tidiness. I mean more power to you for being so compliant, but she seems needy, OCD, and unwilling to change. That could result in being a big problem if she's a control freak.

Either dry the tiles and glass or move.

Drying that stuff isn't so hard but if she gets too annoying, move.

You have to accept the rules or move. -When in Rome...

Better start looking now, in the meantime, why not give her something to complain about?

pretty anal. i know u dont want to move and all, but that would be ur best bet. u should sit her down and have a face to face no interuptions talk about it and come to an agreement.
