HELP!! Neighbors from 666???

My neighbors dog has been constantly barking for 6 mons, we finally complained to management. They sent her a letter, she in turn reported us for our dog (it doesnt bark EVER). Now she is acting worse, slamming her front door and her dog still barks. What can I do? We now live in a hostile environment and pay $2200/month. Help

Update:

We have lease until Oct and really cant move right now

Once a feud and bad feelings between neighbors begins like this one has, there's really no way it's going to get better or resolved.

There is animosity on both sides and I can tell you that neither you or your neighbor are going to be willing to capitulate or acquiesce to the other.

You have already complained on your neighbor...

an unforgivable offense I am sure as far as your neighbor is concerned and only some form of retaliation against you will give your neighbor any satisfaction.

When your neighbor slams her door, you can be sure her anger doesn't stop there...it's a good thing you can't hear what she is probably saying about you after that.

There are perhaps five possibilities that might resolve this issue.

    1) her dog dies.

    2) her dog gets loose and runs away.

    3) the police issue her a warning to keep her dog quiet.

    4) she moves.

    5) you move.

Nothing can be as uncomfortable as living in a "hostile environment" like the one you are in presently.

It becomes an effort just to go outside for fear of another confrontation with your neighbors from hell.

    Good luck!

This is a matter the police will get involved in. My husband is an officer and he goes on calls like this daily. Here the policy is that if the officer can hear the dog barking over a period of time, he issues a ticket. You would be the complaintent and have to go to court though.

Nowadays you have to be careful with people, especially if they're your neighbors and you're stuck there for a while. There are so many weirdos out there! If you continue to make problems for her, she could take it out on you by destroying your property, your place, or even harming your dog. Dogs usually bark all the time because they're bored and need attention or exercise. I know it would be hard to do, but if you want some peace and quiet, you might offer to take her dog out for some exercise. Your dog would probably be glad for the company and exercise, too.

I used to live in a very rough neighbor hood. I didn't realize it till after I moved in that I had drug houses on three sides of me and another one down the road. I started thanking God for my wonderfull neighbors and and ask God to bless them according to their needs. Trying to think positive and hopeing for the best. Within two months they had either moved or had been raided and removed by the police! And I ended up with some realy wonderful neighbors and a nice safe neighborhood!!

"Thank you Father" is my creed!

go to wal mart and get an air horn. every time the dog barks hit the horn. stand at your property edge. if the dog is close it will hurt his ears and he will stop.

i had to do it with my neighbors. they tried to keep them quiet, though. now they do it with their own dogs occassionally.

You can pray for God to bless them...If you truly mean it, it opens the door for God to do something mighty.
