Cheese is so greasy on pizza because when it is melted the cheese oil rises to the top.

Very GOOD question!! Recently, I've been buying Amy's Organic frozen pizzas and I've been adding sauteed spinach with garlic, freshly made pesto from the blender, and topping it with a decadent layer of cheddar cheese. Zero grease and amazing taste. I can no longer eat pizza hut or even costco pizza b/c within minutes of chewing and swallowing, you have that gross grease trap feeling in your alimentary canal that haunts you for like 6 hours. Try buying a good, quality frozen pizza and dressing it up with your favorite toppings. Unless you pour a bottle of mazola on top of it (like i suspect they do at pizza hut!!!), i think you will have a pleasant relatively grease-free experience. Bon apetit!

All cheeses are greasy when cooked. Then you can add more grease if you have meat toppings.
