Yahoo no longer automatically send out an email confirming that they received your report of abuse.

This issue has been discussed in the suggestion forum, but as yet we have had no official response.

The issue has been raised by many members, including myself, and the reports are still actioned, so they are defiantly being received.

EDIT - I am trying to locate the thread I started in the Suggestion Forum regarding the missing emails, which was answered by one of the team. Unfortunately the search facility leaves alot to be desired, but I will keep trying!

    EDIT AGAIN -

I found it! Yahoo! Answers Employee Katie answered my post, saying "First, thank you for helping us by reporting abuse. We do get to all the abuse reports that are sent in, and take actions where they are warranted. For privacy reasons we cannot let you know if or what actions have been taken on the account, but if their was abuse present in the post it will be removed."

It isn't as specific as I'd have liked, but it is at least reassurance that they recieve the reports.
