Why di we call it Good Friday if this is the day that Jesus was killed?

    Because Good Friday was when Jesus Christ made the ultimate sacrifice and died for the sins of humanity. It was Good that God accepted Him into His Kingdom and made Him ruler of all Mankind.

    Good Friday is more of a Catholic holiday.
