Why is A-Rod wearing knee high socks this season?

He started this down in Spring Training....and they interviewed him and asked him about it and he said that it was something new and he's trying it out. I think it looks cool and he looks really cute with his socks so high like that. GO A-ROD!!! GO YANKEES!!!

I don't know the exact reson A-rod is wearing high socks. These websites will give you an idea though. It talks about how Yankees first baseman Doug Mientkiewicz, who is also A-rod's high school buddy does it as well. I think it's doing well for him though. Two homers in the 10-6 win!! A grand slam with 2 outs and 2 strikes in the bottom of the ninth!!

because he probably wanted to make a change on his game and he probably felt the socks would be the difference.

I think it's because he is looking to change things up. Last year he did so poorly, he is looking for all ways to stir up the pot. He did great last night with his grand slam!

Many baseball players are superstitious. IMO, he feels this change will benefit his play.

I think it's just to change things up,try something different.
