Well, certainly online is VERY different than real-life. If you see things moving faster in an online relationship, then you can assume that they're in love with themselves and that they want to start a physical relationship with you. Let your best-judgement rule on this one...love happens with TIME. And if you've had 5 chat sessions and a phone call...that's about 2 hours with of real time...less than an in-person date. So if they're falling in love, be very suspicious and move on.

Alot of the guys that fall instantly in love you should ignore. Get to know someone before making any moves and if you do meet please do it in a public place. Just please be careful you never know who you will be meeting someone normal or a psycho. Good luck!
By the way my boyfriend and I met on myspace. We talked online for a while and then finally met. We have been together 1year and 5 months.

they aren't in love they are in lust, you can't love someone you never met. Tell them to chill out its all for fun, nothing serious. Its just a computer. When it gets serious you will know it.
Source(s): Met my boyfriend online in zone.com in the basement room in August 2005, after seeing his picture in the basement buddie website, we spoke online, we spoke on the phone, then we met in person in October of 2005, I moved to Kansas to be with him in November and have been with him ever since, we are getting ready to go back to Tennessee in just a few days. - Anonymous1 decade ago
