try to mix in about a tablespoon of olive oil in his food and try to get to him eat at least the table spoon of olive oil soaked food.

whenever my dog gets constipated I do this and it works! If he doesnt start going to the bathroom though, I would suggest to at least call up a vet and see what he recommends.

    Hope that helped!

I just had this problem with my dog. I fed her baby food meat an vegetables. You can get baby food squash, and baby food meat and mix them. She wouldn't eat the baby food prunes, but may your dog will. I also gave her chicken broth to get more fluids in her to help loosen the stools.I gave her a baby aspirin for the pain, and it helped her a lot. A spoon full of dark Karo syrups helps. Also gently rub the dogs tummy to help move the mail. Basically, the same things you do for a baby if it is constipated. To prevent a recurrence, add some vegetables to you dogs food on a regular basis . Depending on the dogs size, a couple of big spoonfuls of green bean or carrots If it doesn't clear up soon, take the dog to the vet in case it has an obstruction.

You can try canned pumpkin or psyllium fiber, but if it doesn't help soon, there may be an intestinal obstruction that needs the attention of a vet. This would be an emergency situation.

More information, please....if you think he's constipated maybe you should take him outside & see if he goes. Wait it out. Is he lethargic or energetic? Does he seem to be in pain?

If you are not sure what is wrong with our dog then it sounds like you need to take your dog to your vet for a consult. If he is constipated then you need to get some relief soon for it

Bring your dog to the vet.

I WOULD GO TO THE VET TO MAKE SURE HE DOES NOT HAVE AN OBSTRUCTION. DONT WAIT TO LONG BECUASE HE COULD BECOME SEPTIC FROM HIS OWN WAIST. MAKE SURE HE HAS PLENTY OF WATER.
