help on finding info about virus attacks?

I need to find out 3 recent virus attacks that affected many corporated networks. I need the virus name. What happens when a computer is affected. When it happened and what method is used to fight against it.

Can you give me a link to where i can find these info?

Thanks in advance!

McAfee offers free newsletters about latest virus threats to your email.

Go to www.mcafee.com and signup by registering your email address- no strings attached.

Similarly, other antivirus software makers also post antivirus information on their website.

    www.avast.com (avast!)

    www.grisoft.com (AVG)

    www.bitdefender.com (BitDefender)

    www.symantec.com (Norton)

    www.free-av.com (Avira antiVir)

Probably the best place for that would be

    www.symantec.com

They have links for most recent viruses and if you know names, you can also look them up there.
