Intel extreme edition 3.4 w/HT 478 socket?
I'm going to install this cpu into my GA-8KNXP mobo.I've been reading up on it and read that it is 64-bit capable.I have 4gig's of ram running dual channel and win xp pro sp2 only reads 3.5 due to limited addressing.I would like to go to win xp 64 but will any of my games or apps work?

nice question dude. First of all u have to find out if windows xp 64-bit has backward compatibility i.e. 64-bit operating sytem supports 32-bit applications. All the games and largely available apps are 32-bit sytem compatible and run on 32-bit and 64-bit processors ..
