I routinely used water out of the sink or bathtub to bath my 8 mo. old since we brought him home. No ill effects have occurred. If your not afraid to drink your water you should be fine.

normal water from the tap is fine, from bath. No need for sterile. They need sterile for drinking though. Also at 1 month, a nice sponge for baby to lay on in tub is nice to use. Baabies are very slippery when young even when you hold on tight. Go to local Target, walmart, baby store, a big bear like sponge like $5-$10 way better than any baby bath. Also be careful w/ water temp, make sure NOT TOO HOT! Check on your wrist continuously, just luke warm, remeber babies skin is baby skin, very new & sensitive. Also just sponge baths, or wash clothing is good too, babies dont get too dirty. dont over wash. Good luck w/ baby. Maybe there are some new parenting classes offered at your local hospital too that would help you out. Congrats!

regular water is fine as long as your water is relatively clean, if you live in the city tap water is usually regulated and kept clean. If you rely on well water you may want to have it tested just incase (it could make you sick too, but can be more of a risk to a baby who would be more likely to swallow it). But as a general rule, if you feel safe bathing in it, your baby will be safe as well, same applies for drinking water for making bottles, there is no need to sterilize and doing so may actually keep your baby from developing immunities to everyday bacteria that can put them at risk later than life (you can't sterilize everything forever).

Regular water is fine..and use baby soap...Johnson's is the best...lavender and chamoile will help them fall asleep faster. It relaxes them. I know it seems everything to do with the baby has to be sterile, but only the bottles in the first few months have to be. You can even put the baby in the shower with ya, as long as someone is there to take the baby and dry it and dress it. Mom to 3.

You can use water from the shower. I've never heard of using sterile water. But you need to use some form of baby soap to prevent an allergic reactions. You can't use regular bar soap because baby's skin is way to sensitive and you could cause them to have an allergic reaction.

Regular water is fine. The only thing you have to be concerned about is the baby soap. If you see your baby gets rashes after the baths switch the soap.

I've always used lukewarm water from the shower to bathe my baby. Try to be careful about the soaps though, as they can irritate the baby's skin if used too much.

you can use regular aqua to bath you babe. just becareful of using to much soap a dap will do follow you instincts it won't hurt if you do in the steril water and it would be a story for you little one later - good luck

no, the water to bathe does not have to be sterile ---invest in some "baby care" books, that will help you alot.

Nope, just bathe baby in your regular household water. Unless your water has been tested to be unsafe, your water will be find for your little one.
