this is common for a lot of our belts. the only good fix is to replace the reel, which does not run much money. you are in luck because your vehicle is easy to access the reel in the b pillar.
If you want to do this yourself it is easy (for me anyways)
you can acess the first hold down point for your seat belt when you put your seat all the way up and forward and reach under. there will be a t45 or t50 bolt, release it.
remove your drivers b pillar- pry your drivers sill plate out
will have 4 clips holding it in, set aside. there are 2 clips holding the lower section of b pillar to the frame, pry at the bottom.(they are usually tight to get out and hard to realign) pull the lower section down to unattach from the upper b pillar. pull the upper section down, it is held in at the top by tabs, do not pull it straight ooout but down. fish the lower part of the belt you released earlier through the upper section of trim and release the 2 #8 bolts holding the belt to the body, and the torx bolt holding the belt hangar at the top. release the bolt holding the reel. slip in your new reel and reverse disasembly. make sure the belt is going the right way, buckle it in then re bolt it down to the seat.
good luck

Get a new seat belt. If cost is a factor just consider what you would pay for a new face? The seat belt is worth it.

RADIO PROBLEM? If the radio displays CODE but does not work with the code given , then I think that this is because it is the wrong code. To see if it can be checked , remove the radio from the dashboard and post the radio make+model plus all the letters and numbers on any labels, barcodes and engraved in the metal casing and I`ll see if I can help

Make sure the belt is not twisted. You may have to take the panel off to check at the reel.
